Batcave Tips and Rules

The most important rule in the BATCAVE is to be courteous and respectful of all in the lobby at all times.

If you have problems with another member, please bring it to the attention of an admin, or a head tourney director. Please refrain from bringing it out in the lobby.

It is the td's decision as to what action is taken during their tourney. They will determine if a restart is appropriate, and any other decisions to make the tourney run smoothly. Remember that they do this as a volunteer; they are not paid in any way; and they are human. Everyone makes mistakes; please keep that in mind. Tds are required to post rules on the tourney pages. It is the member's responsibility to read them.

If, at any time, you disagree with a td's decision, feel free to bring it to the attention of admin. However, do so after the tournament is completed, so as to not disrupt everyone else's game.

You have three minutes to make a table or to accept invite after the matches are posted in the lobby. If you are booted or leave the game room for whatever reason, you have five minutes to return. After that time, you will be disqualified and your opponent will be given the win.

We try to keep our league as free of cheaters as is humanly possible. If you are asked for a definition of a word and are unable to produce it to the td's satisfaction you may be asked to withdraw from the league. We hope you accept and understand this rule

When someone in the lobby is being vulgar or rude, we ask that you do not engage them in any conversation. We ask that you put them on ignore - if you are not familiar with how to do this, ask someone. If you engage in conversation with them that makes the situation in the lobby worse in any way, you may be boxed for up to three days. "Boxed" means that a disciplinary action has been taken, and you will not be allowed to play any league games, tourney games, or host tourneys (if a td) for the duration of the boxing. No member is above this rule - it applies to staff and members alike.

We do not allow force forfeits in any league games.

Remember that while you are in the lobby Courtesy and good gamesmanship should extend to anyone you play, members and regulars alike.
